J.O.Y
The desires for our youth are to honor and glorify God through speech and action. There are many opportunities for our youth to get involved with ministry from helping the elderly to visitation. We also have fun activities like family camps, cookouts, hikes, mission trips, church camp, and many more. We would love to see you there. Just as Jesus “increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man” (Luke 2:52) our desire is for the youth of this church from 6th grade to 12th grade to grow spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically during these formable years in their life.
Our Goals are:
- To help each teen establish and maintain a vital relationship with God by regular worship through prayer and Bible study.
- To help each teen respect and honor their parents and other authorities.
- To help each teen to surrender to Biblical change from the inside out by knowing the full counsel of the Word and making it relevant to their lives.
- To help each teen understand with a Biblical world view the current issues and temptations that young people face.
- To help each teen develop a hunger for and joy in serving the Lord and others through the various ministry opportunities: children’s ministry, music ministry, nursing home ministry, and missions trips, ect.
