COLEMAN SCHOLaRSHIP FUND

Financial assistance for young people preparing to serve the Lord in full-time Christian ministry — honoring the legacy of Bill and Betty Coleman.

THEIR STORY

Bill and Betty Coleman were faithful servants of Westside Baptist Church who gave their lives to loving God and others. Throughout their years of ministry, they carried a particular burden for young people — believing that solid Bible training was essential for those called to serve the Lord.

When Bill passed away, he left his entire estate to establish a scholarship fund in his and Betty's name, with one desire: that young people would have the financial means to attend a fundamental Bible college and prepare for a life of ministry. What began as an act of generosity has grown into a lasting testimony — the Colemans have given away more in scholarships than the original value of Bill's estate, and the fund continues to grow and bear fruit.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust."

Psalm 91:1–2 — a favorite of the Colemans

"The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him."

Exodus 15:2
